THURSDAY THREADS A look back at the Sooners last four Bowl Game uniform matchups. One thing is for certain: the uniforms have been bangers.

Sooners will be wearing their bowl patches on the right side of their jersey for the Armed Forces Bowl. OU is 1-4 since 2000 when wearing the bowl patch on the right, compared to 10-9 on the left.

Friday will be just the eighth time the Sooners have faced a military academy. OU is 5-2 all-time including 2-0 vs Air Force, 3-1 vs Army, and 0-1 vs Navy.

OU and Navy have met just once before, in 1965, a 10-0 Navy victory. Linebacker Carl McAdams logged 24 tackles that day, a record that would stand until 2018 when Kenneth Murray had 25...against Army.
