The R ecosystem is asleep, if not dead. YouTube is bombarded with Python tutorials for anything related to AI, from simple agentic workflows to cool mcp stuff and other services integrations. This really upsets me, as an R advocate (only one among a team of 7 Pythonists). 0 AI content with R.

By mere luck I was told I should check the fish market for cargo ships and what do you know. If everything goes right, on Saturday I'll be taking a cargo ship to Colombia! Stay tuned (and wish me luck?)
