Another new work is appearing. It's been a wonderful distraction on these endlessly cold wet days. The rain continues to fall in the south west although it now results in a festival atmosphere when the sun does appear + the song thrushes in the garden certainly lift the heart.

A perfect end to a short stay in Cornwall. A much needed break from a particularly dark winter.

Very happy to have two works selected for the 2026 Society of Graphic Fine Art Open at The Mall Galleries, London. The standard of drawing skill in this show is second to none. I feel incredibly humble to be part of it. It's on at the mall galleries from March 9th to 14th and is well worth a visit

Then 2012 and Now 2025 What a lovely commission to do. It was so good to be able to meet and draw this young woman 13 years on. To see how she's changed and yet how the spark of her younger self still shines through.

I've had a few weeks of (happy) distraction with trips to moor and city and sea so I can't complain! Still progress on arty activities has been slow as a result. I'm pleased with how this commission is going, though. I'm hoping you can see a love of life, a wry wit, and a generous spirit.
