It’s bloody cold on back of boat but I’d rather be here than up there on the M6.

Came in under the bridges and as we did so the rain stopped and the sun came out. Turns out that @BrinklowMarina really is the Marina of dreams.

After spending few days at a lovely mooring just out of Braunston it’s time to move on.

This’ll do us for the evening.

And, we’re off. Next stop Buckby bottom lock.

What a pleasant day to continue our cruise northwards.

Cracking day for it. On our way to Cosgrove for the Halloween market this weekend.

I guess autumn has arrived.

Our current mooring at Three Trees. It’s not officially called that, I made it up but maybe it should be.

Rather choppy, windy and rainy evening here in Cosgrove.

Today’s trip also included an aqueduct. Ok it’s not the Pontcysyllte but is the only wide iron one in the country.

Off we go on our short trip from Wolverton to Cosgrove.

Well, that’s annoying. No more ice cream for this weekend. 😟 Still open for coffee, tea fudge and hot food though.

Like the running man. The running woman also has something on their arm.

Yesterday it was the running man. Today we have the running woman.

I’d not noticed that the running man sculpture had something on their arm before.

I’d be thinking that this needs replacing before we light the fire this year.

Thanks to Nick and Holly for delivering our fuel this morning in the calm before the storm. The fuel boats are such a lifeblood.

After an hour of travel it’s time to moor up. This’ll do for the week. Will post opening hours later.

After waiting an hour or so for the water point to be free and another 90 minutes for the tank to fill. We’re off to our next mooring.
