Man...sooo over packing up the house and studio. Excited for the next chapter but man I just want to rest.

Day of cleaning the studio and getting ready to pack the car for another show this weekend. This is the last one of the year for me until February! I have sooo many things to get to work on to prep for the new sales year. I can't wait!

Had such a great day with friends painting minis and catching up. It has been so long since we have been able to get together due to work and life between all of us. I'm feeling lighter and rejuvenated for a change.

Lawd...someone remind me not to wait until I have like 100 brushes to clean after a few oil paintings. Goodness that felt like a lifetime of work....

Yesterday was my birthday. I always use the day to reflect on the past year and what I want for myself in the next year. One thing I want to tackle is fear. I have so much fear about being more visable online. This is due to past trauma of being bullied. I'm taking some scary new steps soon.

Going to be vulnerable a min. My desk always gets to be a mess after shows. I live in a chaotic frame of mind during con prep. I don't worry about it until I wrap the con and come home to sort myself back into regular life. It is a kind of meditation while I reflect on how the show went.

Working on some sketch studies and I've come to a realization...chipmunks have freaky and weird feet. With how many I've drawn today, I just might be meeting them in my nightmares tonight...

Dragon Con is over and I'm already sad. I love vending at this con so much. The staff, the vendors, and the crowd are always amazing. I hope to see you all next time!

My lizard has been hanging out everyday this week. I think he enjoys the bugs at my window. It seems he also invited a praying mantis over for dinner.

Oof last full day of Dragon Con prep! I'm in a much better place this year than last year. Still a number of things to finish up, but I'm feeling pretty good. I only wish I could nap 😂

Working on glue ups of my potion bottles that you can hang on the wall. These are all based on my mini pin and magnets that I've been selling for a couple years now. I'm excited to paint these up and see how they go over at Dragon Con next weekend.
