Our home education pupils did a brilliant job of building and coding their VEX GO robot arms! They figured out how to control the movements using the two motors and also how to pick up and drop items using the electromagnet. #STEM #Edusky

Whole class area and perimeter lesson, that saw 30 pupils work together to build a floor plan for a castle, before creating an artists impression on their devices - loved it! #outdoorlearning

Was just saying to someone: whoever scheduled Halloween and Bonfire night to land in a 7 day period, outwith a holiday, was clearly NOT a teacher - what a week! So many positives - but so very tired! 😴 this wee P6-P1 buddy activity was lovely today (both classes studying space!)

I doubt there is a better exercise you can do in a maths lesson than this one. The discussion is amazing. “I started by making the 5 on a dice” “I can see a triangular number” “I took the 3 on the left to make a 3x3 array” “I counted a line of 3 & two lines of 4” “It’s 5+6”

Spelling Consolidation ✏️ A great one to play with your whole class or in smaller groups to revise previous weeks spelling pattern(s) #playinupperprimary

This is a must for any upper primary class (or S1 class) exploring pattern and sequences. This square is amazing - everytime I think I've found all the patterns, another one appears!
