MicroPython v1.25.0 has been released! github.com/micropython/... A *huge* update, particularly for the ROMFS feature, and the new Alif port. However, as with all MicroPython releases, there are hundreds of improvements and fixes. Such focus on refinement!

#17050 was just merged - which means that MicroPython now has a new port for the super interesting Alif Ensemble microcontrollers! Thanks to @openmv.io and Damien at MicroPython for the great work to pull this together! github.com/micropython/... alifsemi.com/products/ens...

1/6 🧵 I'm building what might be the smallest #opensource #spectrometer with an easy to use UI! I call it a pocket spectrometer. Combining #M5StickC (~$20) with AS7341 sensor (~$16). My goal? A complete spectrometer that is barely larger than a sample cuvette itself.
