A ‘horror’ result for us now is a draw against the Champions not conceding a shot on target all game. A ‘disaster’ for us now is dropping 2pts that still keep us 6pts clear at the top of the table. We’ve come a long way. I was frustrated at FT but a little perspective is needed.

I am SO disappointed with that result tonight. Given last nights results, given what is at stake, the LFC players missing, the build-up all week. To serve up that lethargic, timid, uninterested performance was shocking. I didn’t enjoy 1 min of that game tonight. A horrible watch.

This last week Arsenal have thumped Sp*rs in the NLD, beat Bayern Munich easily, & drawn away at a title rival despite putting in our worst performance with both 1st choice CB’s out & no striker. We’re also 5pts clear at the top of league. And… we’re disappointed! We’ve come a long way.

Brilliant & professional performance tonight. Felt like more gears to go up if we needed them but we controlled it after they came at us first 20 mins & put them to bed. 4 wins from 4, maximum points, 11 goals scored & NONE conceded. Cannot ask for more. Well played Arsenal 🔴⚪️

Job done in the 1st half. In all honesty it was done as soon as we scored! Scrappy 2nd half. Didn’t seem to quite click with Merino up top & we definitely took our foot off the pedal & strolled through the game in the end. Another win, another clean sheet. Can’t complain. 🔴⚪️

Good half that. Dominated this game completely - as we should and as you’d expect. Really solid performance so far. Gyokeres playing well. This has been his best hold up/link up game for me so far. More goals here if we do want to step on it. Same again 2nd half boys. 🔴⚪️

Great result and brilliant performance all things considered. That was 10 players that will most likely start on Saturday all rested up tonight. We had a 15 year old and a 17 year old making their first ever starts in attack. And we’ve beaten a good Brighton side. Fantastic! 🔴⚪️

With City, Liverpool & Chel$ea losing this weekend we simply HAD TO WIN that game. Forget the performance right now - 3pts literally all that mattered again today. Palace are a very good side too. I was really impressed. They’re a tough nut to crack. Job done! On we go… 🔴⚪️

We REALLY needed that goal! That was a tough watch for most of that half. Palace looked the better side. All felt a bit flat. Great finish by Eze. Hopefully Palace will have to open up a bit more at the back now and we’ll get chances. Big 2nd half with other results this weekend.
