2017 vs 2026, I think K'arik is the oc who has had the biggest glow-up. Not just for his looks! He also went from a side character dance team friend to a prince with a complex character arc about politics, breaking cycles, and upholding family legacies.

##writesky #snippet the most aroace thing I wrote today: "The mere thought of a marriage, even one that was purely political, with no expectation to fall in love or produce heirs, filled K'arik with such revulsion he simply couldn't have gone through with it."

Follow up doodle: Talib demonstrates how he disarmed the thief. Kouto is having an extremely hard time regulating his attraction (he knows Talib is ace, so he's trying to respect boundaries.)

Most of Talib's scars are from childhood accidents and minor injuries. He just gets keloid scars really easily. But he's had this big scar on his chest for years, so I decided to give that one a new story that's a bit more fun lol. Some thief thought he would be an easy target. He was not.

I sure have! Unicorn deer, amphibious wyrms, and eyeball jellyfish are the only ones i have good art for, but there are also dire elk, tropical manticores, and flying lizards called drakes. Also bald ravens which are important to many cultures and therefore have many names.
