Look, I did one sketch. Had to retreat to the forgiveness of blue lead, and now I’m sleepy even tho I only got out of bed a few hours ago. I have not drawn anything else, so this has to hold ya until I remember what consciousness is.

My cats yesterday: You left for a long time and then were tired after? How dare! My cats today: WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU’RE STILL EXHAUSTED AND ACHY?!?!?! I broke down and opened the forbidden bedroom door. If they want attention, they gotta come to ME. (Pirate and Pearl didn’t come, assuming a trap.)

Kitty roundup! Thanksgiving was at mom’s this year, so I got to avoid family and play with the foster cats instead! Cami, their Little Stuff type (a sweet and spicy big personality), stole my shoe immediately when I got there. And I have parallel box time pics from Dipper and Little Stuff.

If I wanna dive deeper into how 14yo oblivious me accidentally hit on [obvious] progressive ideas, I gotta make new sketches to justify it. I woke up with an awful headache, so…crap. (But resting off pain in bed is when I get bored & my mind works on storytelling projects. You see the problem!)

In hindsight, I shoulda worked harder on the Rhenna sketch. Folks, it’s an ETERNAL BUMMER my out of control muscle condition fatigues me before I can warm up, so I can only share 🥶first🥶tries🥶 like this old page. Glad I didn’t draw Aaron. Describing his “empathy” magic within character limits = 💀!

Y'know, the original point of the thread was to try figuring out safe practice for Rhenna - maybe wrapping vines or leather around a rock and targeting the organic material that won't die any more that it already has if you botch it? - but I realized it was BORING and Momentum background was better.

Folks in my life ALWAYS KNOW when I’m awake, immobilized, and bored, cuz meandering word vomit! I can be trapped in bed from muscle spasms, stuck on a treadmill, waiting on meds I took too late, or my mind’s simply straying a lot as I let cats have lap time to make up for me starting my day late!

Quickly drew a Rhenna - even with edits, don’t you dare page flip it - so I had an illustration for a ramble about my silly Momentum sketching. The magic system in Momentum is kinda a joke. There’s an elaborate color system Aaron loves, but he admits it’s more for theory than application…

I feel like I could avoid a lot of problems if I could identify I was slipping into migraine mode and pain brain earlier. Alas, having my denial shield always on gets me in trouble! "Haha, look at me trying to be cool!😎" says a guy slumped against furniture cuz his head feels like it weighs 50lbs.

The foster cats were broken up because five cats over three generations means a lot of sibling smacking! Opal followed the little ones, because’s a caring mother who needed to sure they were ok. (But now she has to deal with more Blanco clinginess. Whoops!)

Today I get to confirm that the reaction from the dang Covid shot indeed triggered a bad flareup of my most-vulnerable facial muscles, which has sucked all my energy away. And just sucked in general! My docs have known since the day they met me the most triggering thing for me… is vomiting! Boooo!

Mad cuz I was crippled with a major surprise migraine, so I’m post some recent pics of my cats… Starting with the big fluffy boys on display and entangled.

I don’t have too many foster family cat pics, cuz hugging five cats means little camera control, but here’s a moment when the two youngest snuck into my mom’s house and met her “unadoptable” foster fails. Blanco was very good. Jasper was ok, but a little worried.

Gee, I wonder if all these unlikable plot armored teams will pull off a miracle fourth quarter comeback? Or if plot-designated losers somehow collapse after leading all game??? (The only real mystery is that two plot armor teams are playing each other right now.)

Sooo, imagine my devastation at thinking I’d saved my win10 laptop for an extra year, only for someone to go and break it! This feels like a deeply cursed time to search for a new PC. Bad code. AI bloat. Tariff crap. Techbro torment nexus-ing. Etc. And I don’t know computers at all! I am helpless!

Visited the catio and the foster kitties today. Petting five cats with two hands, while also want to snap photos, is difficult! Oh, and they ALL run out the moment the catio door is cracked! (Good thing the catio is secured in a garage.) They must be bribed with food to return!

This is one of those days where the sky is so gray and dull that the parakeet in my skull instead of my brain thinks it’s dusk. So I’m going back to bed. ✌️

Today, in “Stressful Things I Definitely Don’t Have the Capacity to Deal With,” someone trying to help clean decided to mess with the shelf holding my laptop… and now it’s making grinding sounds it never has before, while taking ages to boot up. Will it quiet some if it ever finishes loading? Sigh.

Went to feed the porch cat, and when I reached for the towel and pillow I use to protect myself from the cold floor and a sweet feral cat’s kneading in my lap… oh, I’ve stumbled on Pearl’s rest spot again! I made Pearl anxious, then camera flashed her as she tried to sneak away. Poor gal!

A petunia seed that invaded a pot of clover has been trying to bloom even as cold snaps keep taking it out. Had I been more stable, I would have documented the whole process of blooms trying and dying, with the next one coming. Alas! So I’ll toss in the unattended rose bush circle of life-ing too.

The loose chair cover that Pearl normally sleeps under got tucked in by a friendly helper who didn’t know, and I forgot to undo it. So Pearl had to find another cover to get under for a cold night! Aww! (The nefarious tucker wants me to toss the ancient pull-out bed, but…cats are so cute with it!)

It is good to get one’s Covid booster… but, jeebus, the side-effects might kill on their own! I had to call my mommy to feed the porch cat this morning, cuz if I tried leaving bed I’d puke. And if there is nothing left to puke, the body starts selection organs to attempt to eject. NOT FUN.

Why is my power going out over and over just cuz it’s raining? It’s raining at length but not super hard. If infrastructure can’t hold up here…oh no. This is the future, you jerks. Everything is streaming. Even if the outage is a second, you force me to sit around helpless while the modem reboots!

And now a “we have cats at home” post, with Dipper in the “hammock” and Pearl underneath. Somehow dual playing with shoelaces ended up in attacking each other through the blanket roof. (That I am glad didn’t collapse.)

Some pics from today’s visit to the new foster cats. Opal the Momcat, and her two litters. The big ones, Onyx and Moonstone, in the small cubby are girls, and the two little brats, Jasper and Blanco, are boys. (We hope, cuz we scheduled neutering that way.)

The new fosters. They’re very friendly for non-kittens, which means we’re guessing they were likely taken care of by a kind, if stupid for not neutering anyone, wife… and boxed up and abandoned to die by a garbage husband. Standard Winchester trash, sadly.

Had a surprise guest visit today. (Drove me to get my migraine meds when I was so shaky I was THREE HOURS behind schedule!) Told him my meds expired at 8pm and I’d turn into a pumpkin, and at 7:45 my body sent the “Kerplunk! You’re FUCKED!” signal! Now I’m nodding off as cats passive-aggressive me.

Can’t express enough how messed up my week became just cuz of bad PT luck ending with a bruise atop one of my most spasm-y muscles. It’s near impossible to focus on anything with a glitched autonomic response panicking about injury, as my annoyed rational mind assures my bod it’s a temporary bruise!

Every time I have picked up a pencil to sketch today, a certain someone has immediately ruined it by running into me and yelling for attention. But if you pick him up and hold him like the baby he is, he cries even more! Now he’s in my lap, scolding me if my petting isn’t perfect. Cats are jerks.

Once more: I avoid following accounts that would only make me and my fragile body angry, so any dumbass/monster of the day news gets to me via third wave of backlash subposting, and many times I will never learn about the original post/article/news item that caused it.

One day only special: Foster kittens! My mother will soon be switching out with this pair’s older siblings and mother. The little social sweeties will go on the fast track to adoption. Mom gets the potential tougher cases!

Been struggling with migraines, and I either forgot it was Aimovig refill time or I should accept the flexibility of mental forgiveness with blue lead is countered by how brittle it became as it aged. All I’ve “finished” is this 2/3 of a Meret and a Rhenna I forgot to photograph. (We’ll see.)

I was in too much pain for a day like today. Body is handling tension quite poorly and it’s hard to calm when pain causes an automatic fight or flight panic. (Can’t sleep with it active!) I couldn’t even handle watching bad sports teams find new twists on old ways to lose!
