One cup of tea down, one hour of work done, stand up attended, second cup of tea inbound! I will get myself through this week 😆

Apparently I am now a neurotic dog, if there’s an electrical storm, strap me into a thunder vest, put on my eye mask and give me noise canceling headphones, otherwise there is NO sleep.

Fun fact! When I use rain sounds to help me sleep they can’t feature the sound of thunder. Those wake me up. … I say this an electrical storm rages outside my window… I am sooooo tired

I have decided to over caffenate! Also how do I tell my phone to stop learning how I spell….like I need it to be the voice of reason and its over here enabling me at every step

Cat and people snacks have been restocked, tea cups and mugs washed, tea jars restocked. Going on week three of bedroom office…but getting closer to a real office return, keeping my fingers crossed for next Monday

Horror movies continue, watched The Blackening mid day and starting The Closet now! Still kinda laid up as this damn foot heals

Started my day watching They Whisper with the cat and now onto house cleaning and tea, sans cat, apparently it’s nap time and she “would help” with the house work but, you know, schedules

I may be asleep by 8:30

It’s so weird for there to be a storm system over us in Sep, like end of October is normally the start of our “wet” season and even then mid November is common

I have spent too long hyper focused on one project today, I can no longer see forest through the trees

My partner has COVID and in a surprising turn of events his dog is refusing to be near him, so it looks like I have the other fur child today…Ryla has yet to discover this, this will not sit well with her

While I am missing the use of my left foot, Ryla on the other hand is very happy with the current situation.

My TikTok feed today is 50% onigiri and now I really want some, but I have failed at getting rice to hold shape EVERY time I’ve tried to make it 😞

Took a hot minute to finally get a meal in me today but when I did it was tasty

The U.S. medical system is calling your Dr about a press current issue(can’t put weight on foot), them telling you they can get you in a month from now and you thinking wow! That’s fast! I seriously hope I can walk before then 😝

Shout out to my local Asian market for letting me shop out of my backpack today as I hobbled around on crutches! Food has been aquired! Hopefully I can avoid DoorDash for a few days

Me: I can get a slice of cake to my room while on crutches Narrator: the cake is now on the hallway carpet 😆

My plans for today? Keep the left foot elivated, iced and without weight It’s been a brutal 48hrs and I need this flair up to end cus I have quickly learned that I do NOT currently have crutch muscles 😆 (as my shoulder muscles quiver)

We woke up this morning, did gifts, birthday brunch, picked up his cake then made the requested dinner of pizza! Hard to wrap my brain around how old he is now, they grow up so damn fast.

Kicking off the kids birthday weekend with ice treatments and a run to buy crutches. Thankfully I ordered a cake this year…may have to get Ryla to carry it to the car though

Drinking tea, watching videos for edits, and telling the cat it’s aaaaaaalmost breakfast

I may have to ditch my hair tomorrow, this high heat, hair on back of neck thing is driving me up the walls

I almost unintentionally blew up my pcs best friends dog tonight, no I did Not cast fireball, yes I immediately shoved a healing potion down its gullet

It’s 87° and rising inside the house and Peabody and Ryla have apparently given up on it all
