The attacks on our cities continue; air raid sirens still ring out in almost every city across Ukraine. Right now, numerous russian "shahed" drones are flying across the Ukrainian sky in different directions. Loud explosions can be heard in several cities, mostly from air defense systems at work.

Since the start of the war, people from all corners of the world have come to know my country, Ukraine - at least those cities that are most frequently shelled. One of those cities is Kherson. The woman in the video shows her morning today and the spot where a russian missile struck her yard.

This is what a high-rise building and a residential courtyard in Poltava look like after a night of shelling. Local residents started their morning by boarding up their windows with plywood and oilcloth to cover the shattered windows in their homes…

And here is our morning… russia attacked Ukraine with missiles and drones. In the Poltava region, two people were killed and 11 were injured. In Zaporizhzhia, one person was killed and five were injured.

This damn war… these damn times… This is the silent pain of the Ukrainian people. It doesn’t seek the spotlight because it is deeply personal. But the world must see not only the brave soldiers who continue to defense of one's own country, but also those who did everything humanly possible.
