Pilning, S GLOS. My 1st (seen) Green Woodpecker of the year and 5 of 20+ Turnstones on the water's edge just after HT. Lots of Redshanks, Ringed Plovers, Curlews and Oycs. Sadly no Wheatears this morn.

Parkend, FOD. Despite the drizzle & murk found Crossbills (8+), here 5 flying, a Hawfinch, Greenfinches as well as a Mistlethrush. Dipper at Lower Cannop, 4 Goosanders and 8+ Mandarins at Upper Cannop. Plenty of Little Grebes too #Glosbirds

Great to see my first Welsh Otters at WWT Llanelli, Wales on Saturday in the half light. Good views of three in their Millenium Wetlands early on. Brents, Spoonbills, Greenshanks, Knots and Blk T Godwits were the other highlights. No Harriers sadly
