Just drove out over 20 miles to go to a tea room in Dade City. Was informed that a bag of the blend we usually get will 8ncrease from $19 a bag to $50 a bag due to tariffs. Guess what tea I won't be getting anymore. :( Hoping they don't go out of business.

Yesterday was such a good day. Spent lots of time with @foomaring.otter-space.com , walked area Lake Eola downtown, had a nice cheese/tea in the afternoon, dinner with friends, and watched "Monster Squad" for a Halloween movie. :)

Cleaning my room and closet. Trying to clear out at least 1 full wastebasket at a time. Shredding old paperwork. Throwing out unneeded boxes. Slowly making progress. :)

Kind of a shot in the dark here. I ran into someone with a donkey fursona at Megaplex. His nickname started wirh "Haw" and he is from north Florida. Panhandle I think. Anyone know who he is? Wanted to catch up with him.

Yesterday, for giggles, I had a KFC make me the closest thing to the "Double Down" as they could. (Gave me Zesty Sauce for it, had to use shredded cheese instead of sliced cheese, etc.) Watching @toxxieaussie.bsky.social freak out because they made me one...but won't for him...totally worth it. :)

We went and got a swamp milkweed (native host plant for monarchs), a red Penta and a yellow lantana for the butterfly garden. :) Trying to keep the pollinators happy.

Finally caught a good photo of the zebra longwing in the garden! He's feeding on a zinnia! :)

Forgot to unpack a couple of things from #anthrocon. My rillerboa4d smells like an amazing cup of coffee! :)

Success isn't usually an instant thing. It's a process that takes time, patience, and discipline. Keep working at something, and you can be successful at it.

As I was leaving home from a meeting, I saw something in my butterfly garden...my very first zebra longing! State butterfly of Florida! I was in a hurry, so Ionly got one image .

Went grocery shopping. About $40 in fresh fruits and vegetables. Trying to be healthier. At least I like most of it. :) (just not the celery. Blech.)

You know it's a busy day when you go in at 8am...don't stop to take lunch until 2:30pm...get back to your desk...and are finally all caught up on work at 4:00pm.

Ok. Made homemade Salisbury steak for dinner tonight. That was really tasty with the caernet sauvignon reduction gravy. :)

Did a duct tape dummy this weekend. Here's a tip that made things easier. You have to cut someone out of it and then retape it together. To make lining the cuts up easier, use some patterned duct tape where you plan to make the cuts. When it's off, just line the pattern back up to retape it.

Found a dead squirrel under tree by my mailbox. Used a shovel to carry it out to the green belt behind my house...put it on the ground under some brush. I'm sure other animals will find it. Just kind of disturbing.

I think I should create an automatic toilet seat chiller. So it'll never feel like someone just got off of toilet and you end up sitting on one with soneone else's butt warmth already applied. :P
