I’m closer to my goal. The first prototype of the new PCB replica for Toastrack. I’ve already found a few bugs, so it needs a few more tweaks. And of course functionality verification. But in a month or two it should be clear and ready to be released to the world.

I’m designing new PCB for a ZXS+ internal upgrade to 128kB for a friend. He also wants internal AY so to reduce the number of integrated circuits I stuffed the AY addressing and AY clock frequency divider into the GAL. It worked on second try because I had small bug in equations for BC1 and BDIR :-)

I’m a die-hard Speccy fan, but I was given a broken Atari 800XE as a gift. I’ve never repaired an Atari before, but I managed to fix this one. Dead DRAM and FREDDIE were replaced with modern equivalents and the 800XE is now working happily. I keep it in my collection as a rare (for me) exotic 😁

Yesterday I finished playing Tomb Raider, the first game from the reboot. Apart from the unnecessarily shaky camera and slightly overcomplicated action sequences, it's an excellent adventure game. It still holds up well today and it's unbelievable that it's already 12 years old. #TombRaider
