For decades, the health of the Roxhill Bog has been an area of concern. Portions of the bog running dry reduced its ability to clean stormwater, created unsafe conditions for residents, led to habitat loss, and the trails and bridges of Roxhill Park had even started to sink. (1/4)

We are ending the year with two historic groundbreakings, one in the Central District and the other at the heart of Seattle’s downtown core, Westlake. (1/7)

Construction is officially underway at Roxhill Park! Our partners with Duwamish Alive Coalition have been working with American Rivers to restore the park’s peat wetland, also known as the Bog.
