I gave the merchant a humble shed, which he promptly locks down as soon as bullets hit it. I also added cacti giving gold bars as loot (it will be 50/50 enemy/gold), but something didn't quite go right. I might add this as a secret/easter egg. #Godot #Gamedev #Indiedev #WorkingHard

The rare upgrade merchant. One of few! Some kind of strange bird creature. It has a friendly disposition, as long as you strictly talk business... although the creature doesn't talk, it just takes your gold and gives you upgrades, but... nonetheless. #Gamedev #Godot #IndieDev #StrangeGames

I've decided against reloading. Instead you can now spin your gun and turn a rifle or machine gun basically into a shotgun. Combat is going to be fast and frantic. You need at least something to defend yourself against all the evil monsters are trying to eat you, no?! #Gamedev #Indiedev #Godot

Player is a journalist living under dictatorship. Trees grow ice cream fruit, which all have to be exported, to keep the economy alive. Player finds smugglers. Has to decide: rat out or work with them, destroy the economy and overthrow the dictator, through stolen sales. #GameDev #StrangeGames

I overhauled the loot system. It's now way easier to add new items and weapons. When you pick up a new weapon, your current one gets dropped on the ground, so you can pick it up later. Also: Gold! Because upgrade merchants need to live too! #Godot #Gamedev #IndieDev #IndieGameDev #StrangeGames

Platformer where you play as an eye on a leg. You go from bank to bank to try to rob them. When you get busted you go to jail, where you'll find other criminals, who you can hire when you're out. But you have to hide and launder your money, by investing it wisely. #Gamedev #StrangeGames
