I’ve always appreciated Vonnegut’s encouragement: “And I urge you to please notice when you are happy, and exclaim or murmur or think at some point, ‘If this isn’t nice, I don’t know what is.’”

Lunar New Year holds a special place in my heart, filled with memories of family, traditions, and feasting from my childhood in Malaysia. As an immigrant in the U.S., I’m working to pass those traditions on to my son. It’s that journey that inspired our release 福 (fú dào). -Elaine
