Indeed it is. It’s been very hard to love the club over the last 10 years or so, as the hope drained away and little replaced the anger at the destruction and incompetent running of the place. We still can’t answer why Venkys own us, but we’re sure we just don’t enjoy it anymore

That's sad to read but understandable. I'm a 25min walk from Ewood, not 250 miles away & it's becoming to feel like a chore going to Ewood. No matter how bad the football is, I've always joked that "it beats shopping on Saturdays" - week by week, the shops seem more of an enjoyable alternative.

I am not a season ticket holder, I live too far away for that to be in any way realistic. But this resonates so much. I can’t even articulate how I feel right now

If it wasn't for 'going to the Rovers with the family' and the fact that I am living out the joy (father-son joy, not joy at watching the games currently) of taking my lad to the games, I could have easily walked away from Rovers. Midweek games have easily become a 'I'll just watch on tv' though...
