28th April - 4th May is Reusable Nappy Week! To find out more, we spoke to three local parents who had used reusables and hear about their experiences. Herts Nappy Service is also a great source of information and a chance to try before committing.

Thames Water have been allowed to add another ยฃ3 billion to their existing ยฃ19 billion of debt. They've run up this bill by paying out huge amounts to bosses and shareholders instead of investing in our water infrastructure. It's time for water to be run for people, not profit.

What a great start to
#NationalAstronomyWeek
at the
#DarkSkies
event in Hertford. We had a screening of The City Dark film followed by a light switch-off and stargazing with astronomers from Bayfordbury Observatory in Hertford Castle grounds. Frosty and fantastic!

A fantastic quiz fundraiser last night for the mayor of Hertfordโs charities, packed with 200 keen quizzers. Brilliant question setting by Pam, and thanks to Team Brittain and to Hertford Town Council for organising it. ๐๐
