Silence supports the death dealing reality our government’s leaders are creating with bipartisan support. Make no mistake, those who believe they are innocent in all of this because they haven’t played a part, are not innocent, they are a coward.

“That’s not what our churches are for.” “We are not supposed to be political at church!” You cannot say that you stand with those on the margins while remaining silent in your pulpits and your pews.

What is worse is that even after things get to a certain point, where laws are being passed to deport black and brown people, that make it more and more illegal to be Trans in America, when we are dropping bombs on children paid for by our tax dollars, it is still largely silent.

If seminary had taught me anything, it’s they not enough people in the world are ok with being disliked. Because if we had voices who were louder before we reached moments of crisis, we might have been able to move before those crises happened.

Religion is not about following traditions for their own sake—it is about living with love, justice, and compassion. May we live our faith not just in words, but in action—caring for the vulnerable, speaking truth, and walking humbly in the presence of God.

I started with 7 UU seminarians I’m currently up to 33 as of this afternoon. A more accessible ordination process is necessary. Class warfare should not exist in our churches.

Don’t have time to help organize my Communist Comrades, but I do have time to help organize UU seminarians who are aware or experiencing the multiple classist barriers that prevent many of us from being able to finish the ordination process.

New challenge for liberals and conservatives: whenever you badmouth the republicans or democrats you have to mention one of the recent horrible things your preferred party has done (trust me there are several).

I work two jobs. We’re all struggling and libs are like “this is fine.” And “if you don’t vote for more then have a good time in the camps” as they laugh. They think it’s funny. The want us to care about their comfort as they fkn shit on us constantly.

Liberals are not a resistance force. They’re still class traitors. They fight to uphold the same exact capitalist system, the same institutionalized racism. Voting blue no matter who is what got us into this perpetual cycle of choosing evils. Libs aren’t ready yet to actually be the resistance.

I am a combination of both of these characters.
