I added a poem of an uplifting nature and about perseverance by Edgar A. Guest, “Don’t Quit”, into the make of the song becuase of how it made me feel, how I knew that the listener will connect with the message of never giving up and that someone.. somewhere… has got your back. Forever and always.

Let’s talk about the first song on my album, Black and White…. This song was a song I wrote a long time ago as an ode to the instrument that truly unleashed my songwriting abilities. Any time I had a good day, a bad day, a story to tell, a feeling to emote, the piano has always been there for me.
