Fabulous few hours watching wild Red Deer in the hills in Cumbria. Well worth the drive, despite the users of the steep and single track road driving too fast and having no reverse gear!

On account of probably leaving BT as my internet provider, I’ve spent much of today how to keep my btopenworld email address working ….. It has driven me not far short of insanity 😬🤯😳

It’s #BinDay tomorrow starring the green bin, non recyclable stuff. I took the bag out of the kitchen bin and set off down the path …. without the flipping bin😱🤯

Tomorrow I must make an effort to try and sort out my beloved late OH’s collection of cameras, lenses and other associated equipment. I haven’t much idea about such things, any advice or suggestions welcome 📸📷🎞️

It’s been a filthy wet day. The “big light” has been on all day and the wind is now battering rain onto the North facing front door. My lovely old cottage has had enough and decided it’s time for some central heating. A good decision 🥰🍷 Cheers

Yesterday I made a start on trimming back the ivy which encroaches through my trellis fence from next door. While I was out today they have done some trimming on their side. It’s a bit of a mess. They can’t reach to my side of the fence so they leave it like this. Hedge trimmer is on charge.

Went out to water the pots, and it’s now raining! I was surprised how dry the compost in the pots was …. the gusty winds have made everything look a bit battered, it suddenly looks rather autumnal. Sunflowers still going strong 🌻🌻🌻though 😬 @avidgardener72.bsky.social @dougthegardener.bsky.social
