Mom had a surgery, where her body went into shock because the ICU nurse thought she was breathing fine on her own, so they took out the tubes and her doctor was like WTF she's barely breathing, put it back. In my mind that's the moment she died, & was forced to stay alive for 14days due to protocols

Grief really hitting me today. I firmly believe whomever thought it was the bright idea to remove the intubation after surgery in the ICU ward, killed her. Even though they tried to keep her alive with machines for 14 days. She aspirated and went into shock. Her surgeon was even pissed.
