If anyone would like to recommend a cool free theme for self hosted Wordpress blog, please tell me? I would like it to have as much freedom to choose as possible. Colors of every element, placement, graphics, type etc. I am trying Responsive, but it seems to have less creative control, than before?

For me it was important, that trans/nonbinary women would be safe to participate, and it says "self identifies as woman", so that is a yes. I might phrase it differently. But I think the thought is there? Anyway, looked like an interesting competition.
