The last weeks before a show are always maximum studio chaos & finishing the tiniest details. Most of my ceramic work is glazed, but a few are finished instead with cold process-- aka paint. Painting individual hairs on a rainy day today. My show "Insides" will open on 11/1 at Stranger Factory

Wayward 2025 is in the books! I feel my cup refilled by the week we built in the woods with this incredible group of humans who I want to keep in my pocket forever. They were so game for both silliness and depth. It was a joy to make art with all of you! @waywardretreats.bsky.social

Back from running Wayward, feeling the usual combo of exhausted and inspired. More soon once I’ve had a chance to lie down for about a day.

In just a few days, I'll be going offline for about two weeks. I'll be in one of my favorite places doing my favorite thing: creating a new session of Wayward on Quadra Island. Art and foster kitten updates will resume in early October! Waywardretreats.com
