also once again, i come back on here after being ia for days for two things: shumika and j-music, my two favorite things to talk about atm 🙂‍↕️💕

also why is shu’s gaze lingering on mika like he’s a delectable croissant lmao, like bro thinks he’s subtle (he’s not)

also there’s something to be said about taiki’s expressions for shu! he shows the most subtle changes in expressions, which suits shu’s character quite well, especially his gentle and softly content side. it’s probably one of the things i love most w taiki playing shu!

i’m also always so amazed at how hiroki ino effortlessly conveys with his expressions mika’s cute side vs his cool on-stage persona 🦋

sorry for losing it over the trailer on main but i’m just not okay it’s so good and i’m so happy 😭

i am once again smitten w how beautiful taiki yamazaki as shu is. truly one of god’s favorites right here, always serving face!

the contrast of of shu & mika’s static ideal (perfect fairytale/eternity) versus the reality of being dynamic flawed humans is the core of what, imo, makes valkyrie and their bond so so good and beautiful 💜

wrote some of my thoughts on pt 2…going to read the story form the beginning again bc i like nuance & i want more than my jerk reaction to it. might also read human comedy + neverland & then cope w raison d’etre lol

apparently part 3 is coming out semi-soon?? man…i hope the story comes to a satisfactory conclusion! i’ve been simmering w my thoughts on part 2 & honestly, the situation is so complicated bc shu & mika both have understandable perspectives and concerns, especially when you consider the awful —

i love this role reversal because i remember in machina when shu stormed out and mika didnt follow him, shu was upset thinking "why didn't he follow me out" 😭

the root of this all is his insecurity in his relationship and place in shu's heart... he doesnt feel like his feelings are heard or respected..

raison d’etre being out on the eng server while shumika are having one of the worst couple’s fights they’ve ever had in their relationship is so wild 😭😭 honestly i love angst & seeing characters growing from tough situations, so i’m actually quite content rn! i do want them to communicate tho 🥹
