it does drive me a little insane that W3Schools treats accessibility as an afterthought in every tutorial example in every programming language. like creating a lightbox gallery that is keyboard accessible requires so much more work and they never bother to include an example for that

I do have to admit that I fully forget I have a videogame running 80% of the time. I have racked up embarrasing hours on Valheim and No Mans Sky purely from leaving it on a pause menu and walking off to do something else or alt-tabbing out to do something else and then forgetting to go back 😭

Sometimes I wonder if I should just put that I have dysthymia in my bio so people know not to expect me to be able to pump out art with any level of consistency.

Nothing is worse than being half good at something. Like I was a good enough singer to get into choir and I can do vibrato, but I'm not good enough to sing solo or without music, so I'm just stuck in this limbo of not being bad enough to not care but not being good enough to be proud. It sucks.

Finally had meeting with client, the project sounds hella cool. It's basically revitalising a 300 year old sea salt-making community and setting up supply chains throughout Mexico, US and Canada. So no pressure lol

I want to play VotV because I feel like I'd enjoy it but I cannot for the fucking life of me figure out the control scheme and mapping it to a controller is only marginally helping. Why the fuck does it take four buttons to fucking hold or drop an item I feel like we've figured that one out by now.

External hard drive keeps disconnecting and it's doing my head in bc it won't stay mounted long enough to get any large files off it, but updating the bios on my motherboard seems to have helped at least

I guess one nice thing about the PC parts arms race is that stuff that would have been exorbitantly expensive ten years ago is now dirt cheap. Being able to get 2TB of storage for 50 bucks just because it's a 3.5" drive and not an NVME stick is surreal
