The Workshop: Charged Soft Matter – Bridging Theory and Experiment is taking place Sept 8–12, 2025. Organized by Emanuela Bianchi, Peter Košovan, Christos Likos & Roman Stano, the workshop will explore key systems like charged colloids, proteins, polyelectrolytes & disordered proteins.

🧬 Check out our latest paper in the PRL: doi.org/10.1103/7fh5... We use computer simulations and analytically solvable theory to study supercoiled DNA plasmids functionalized by pH-responsive groups. We show how charge annealing can reversibly switch the topological twist to writhe and vice versa.
