Next week is National Apprenticeship Week! The Tower Hamlets Apprenticeship Fair is a fantastic free event and a great opportunity for students in Years 11–13 to find out more.

Year 12 historians had a fascinating time at the Museum of London Docklands! Pupils explored how life on the docks has changed since the slave trade, through to Victorian times and both World Wars, to understand the economic and social impact on the area.

Year 12 Economics students stepped into the world of insurance at the Chartered Insurance Institute, learning about risk, equity vs equality and the skills needed in the profession. They also enjoyed an inspiring talk from the CEO and a visit to the Sky Garden!

Yesterday we hosted our annual Sixth Form Careers Fair. Students took an exciting step towards their future by connecting with a range of universities, colleges, employers and apprenticeship providers. Thank you to all our visitors!

Our KS4 students had a great time exploring post-16 and post-18 options at Monday’s Careers Fair. A huge thank you to all our visitors for making the event so valuable and inspiring!

This morning, our school community marked Holocaust Memorial Day in a special assembly led by Mr Smith. Students heard from Sixth Formers who visited Auschwitz & listened to witness testimony, reflecting on the lives lost and the importance of remembrance & challenging prejudice.

Today, Year 8 explored 'Navigating Relationships' in the first of 3 sessions with the charity @everyonesinvited.bsky.social. Pupils learned how to recognise unhealthy behaviours, support friends and communicate emotions, handle rejection and manage conflict in a healthy, empathetic & respectful way.

Yesterday, our Year 13s had an engaging and insightful session with Amplify ME. Pupils looked into stock market simulations and the corresponding impact on profit margins. Thank you to George for the session and for inspiring students to aspire to future careers in the industry.

Year 11 Parents’ Evening will take place tomorrow from 4–7pm. Parents/carers are also invited to attend our Supporting Success briefing, with sessions at 4pm and 5.30pm, each lasting around 20 minutes.

Meet Your Coach Day 2 brought families and coaches together to reflect on the academic year so far and share key information. It was also an important day for students in Years 8, 9 and 10 as they finalised their subject choices for next year.

The new Spring Term lunch menus launched this week, with three rotating weekly menus offering a range of hot dishes, plus fresh cold options including sandwiches, baguettes and salads 🍽️

At the end of last term, the Drama department presented a modern twist on the classic Shakespeare play, Macbeth. Over two sell-out nights, the incredible cast took us into a world of power struggles and deception, witches and murder.

Our Year 13 historians had a fantastic time on their residential trip to Manchester last week, which included a visit to the University of Manchester. They made the most of valuable learning opportunities and enjoyed spending time together outside the classroom.

Last week, ten Morpeth students attended a Model United Nations Conference as delegates. Focusing on the themes of 'AI, Justice & the Path to Global Sustainability', this student-run initiative challenged them to engage with real-world issues & collaborate on impactful solutions.

A heartwarming afternoon yesterday as our Year 12s welcomed residents from local care homes for a tea party complete with live music, tasty treats and great company.
