When our luggage went missing, we had to buy new clothes in Hong Kong. It wasn’t part of the plan. It wasn’t in the budget. And I kept thinking — what if we didn’t have extra money? Emergency funds aren’t just for worst-case scenarios. Sometimes they’re for inconvenient ones.

We prepared EVERYTHING so we wouldn’t have to line up at the airport Online check-in? Done. Printed documents? Done. Organized bags? Done. And yet… we still ended up lining up.
