Normally I say the reverse but in this case this book needed to be longer. It felt like a summary of events, and we didn’t really get time to sit with things, so it was hard to care. It feels like it was trying to be Song of Achilles, but the emotional connection just wasn’t there. 💙📚

My dog is normally jumpy and likes to climb on people when they’re sitting so he can get attention but he’s been very gentle with my grandma and just sits in front of her while she pets him. 🥹
