My aunt passed away suddenly overnight. She’s been battling cancer, and she caught a case of pneumonia her body couldn’t handle. I had to make the call yesterday afternoon that I wouldn’t be able to attend New InkLAN. I regret that it had to be canceled, but it was the only right decision for me.

I feel so bad about having to cancel New InkLAN the day before, but it was really unavoidable. May be slightly less available this weekend and maybe this week, idk yet.

We’ve made the hard decision to cancel tomorrow’s New InkLAN. A family emergency has come up for a TO, and as a result we do not have the staff needed to give you the event you all deserve. Keep an eye out on this page. If we are not able to reschedule this event, we will see you all in spring.

I was struggling HARD in the beginning, because it’s both really info dumpy while also assuming you’re familiar with the world, and you can definitely tell this was intended as part of a greater universe with hints and threads unresolved.
