Whelp, flight home starts in a few hours. My first (but definitely not last) trip to Japan is coming to a close. I’ll post a few more pics over the coming days of random things for documentation’s sake. ありがとうございました！

Accidentally picked an okonomiyaki restaurant where you have to cook it yourself. I think we did alright!

Was there a furry convention I missed in Akihabara? There’s no Von Lycaon merch anywhere and the Yamaha networking equipment gacha machine was empty…

Hard to believe my first Japan trip is only a few days from ending! Tokyo has already been a whirlwind - Shibuya and Ginza in the last few days, but still have Akihabara, Shinjuku, and a few other spots to check out.

Quick detour up to Hokkaido to check out Takimotokan and its collection of spring-fed baths. (Obviously no pics allowed of the bathhouse itself, so enjoy the lodging, one of the Kaiseki dinners, and the nearby surroundings!)

The 4 days in Osaka went by super quick! Legitimately never heard it referred to as “the kitchen of Japan”, but I kinda get it now. Definitely need to spend a full week here in the future! (Also tossing in some deer from Nara. Cute when asleep. Entitled pricks when they see you’ve got crackers…)

Japan trip is going by fast! Already cruised through Kyoto, but not before checking out the Kiyomizu-Dera temple and Nishiki Market!

First adventure in Japan (besides surviving the flights and finding the first AirBnB) - Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine in Fukuoka!

Anyone got any hidden gem destinations in Japan? Ya boy’s finally going there after years of anticipation 👀
