Knapweed, greater Willowherb and yarrow. All photos taken on the banks of the River Tyne this week.

Pineapple weed. As a child I hated this plant because I associated it with dirty bus stations and car parks in town. It was always literally covered in the dust of the road. Now I live in a more rural area I am learning to like it. Not sure I will ever love it. #WildflowerHour #pavementplants
