I’m scrolling through old photos tonight and I keep running across Muppet Courtyard photos. This was taken in front of Piggy’s Fountain circa October 2022.

Can anyone recall who designed the faux movie posters for the Muppet*Vision 3D extended queue? Paul Osterhout mentioned a name at RetroMagic during our conversation, but the artists’ name has escaped me.

I’m politely begging for big thunder to be open by the end of January (and hoping that they didn’t fix the intended wobbliness of the track).

Asking for a friend, is anyone collecting modern day park maps? I’ve been thinking of starting to.

Re Dinosaur show quality: Alio is in awful shape. He was pointed all of the way down, snout almost touching the floor. His tail was moving though. Carno charged. You can see control consoles in the back right before the autopilot scene on the right side.

I’m not sure I’m the demographic they want to hear from…

Someone needs to do a case study on the “Drinking Around the World” phenomenon of EPCOT. I experienced some… questionable… behavior today in EPCOT.

For theme park people who don’t love the muppets: for the love of Kermit, read the Henson biography by Brian Jay Jones. jim trusted Eisner to take care of the muppets and look what it has turned into.

I wonder what Jim Henson would say about the current state of the Muppets and Sesame Street. I guess it’s kinda like asking the question “What would Walt do?”
