Trying out a Bandai-Namco game after forgetting about the fiasco I had with Tekken 7... having to agree to an abusive, one-sided lease contract (a rental agreement in so many words) to play a single player game offline is absurd. How'd we let it get here? And people wonder why retro has such appeal.

People writing or those voting in favor of legislation to "protect kids" with age verification and other measures are 30 years too late to stop the damage the internet can cause to a whole generation. If lawmakers are only just now catching up to 1996, what else are they behind on? Hmmm...

I know this wrecks some people's minds, but all video game consoles are computers. The PC vs. console debate was always moronic. Preferences either way are valid, but I do think a big swath of the PC community refuses to get why some of us only see these PCs as tools, not a place to be for fun.

If anyone ports the Sonic Triple Trouble 16-bit or 2D Blast fan projects to Mega Drive or Dreamcast, let me know. I was interested but playing them on a home computer is a hard pass.

The Super Mario Galaxy movie is great! I am willing to admit that Nintendo is doing better by Mario theatrically than SEGA is with Sonic. It doesn't need to be some deep, meaningful avant garde film festival tosh, it's okay for a movie to be lighthearted, silly, and *gasp* fun.

I am SEGA-biased, but truth is, I think Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound is better than Shinobi: Art of Vengeance. It's not even close.

If I was a producer or director on a game, and was presented with a stage like Secret Bunker from Shinobi: Art of Vengeance, I'd ask for the level designer's resignation or demand their immediate transfer.
