#ResidentEvil From what I've seen in the teaser, and heard about from the leaked scripted and the director himself, I think this movie might be better if it took place in a random modern town, then Raccoon City. Especially since it's winter with modern iPhones, instead of Fall 1998.

I think this movie might make the fan in me angry. Snow covered Raccoon City on the same day Leon is driving in on a rainy night is already a needless headache.

Just got back from seeing The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. I liked it. Loved seeing Fox McCloud (Big Star Fox Fan). It will certainly entertain the kids and make fans happy. Average person though, not so much. I don't think it's the 45% score it's getting from critics, but do think it falls around 65%.

Finally finished Resident Evil Requiem. Definitely one of the best RE games. This game, plus RE2R and RE4R, feel like a true Leon trilogy. Now that Return to Silent Hill is out, I want to make a little thread thinking of all the “What if” ideas I had for a SH2 adaptation, that are within the same canon as the first movie. None of these ideas can be used now, but I can still put them out for fun.

Just got back from Return To Silent Hill. As someone who loves the first movie... this wasn't a good movie for me. I didn't hate it, but don't like it either. It's very 5/10 for me. If you're a big fan of Silent Hill 2, I think you'll hate this movie with a passion.

Great video on my 2nd favourite Silent Hill game. I think a lot of people misunderstand how this game is meant to be played, which this video highlights. You're not supposed to run through it. You're supposed to walk through it and take your time. Not rush through it.

No idea if this will be good or bad, but at least they're adapting her classic look. It's always been a strange thing that adaptions keep throwing away the original design that won over millions.

Finished this game 2 weeks ago. Definitely recommend for those who loved the Famicom Detective Club games, with little bit of Ace Attorney‘s investigation mode thrown in. Hope we get a prequel game that tells the tale of how our protagonist met. 😁 Light Spoilers in the comments.

Just finished Silent Hill F. Haven’t replayed for the other endings yet, but overall a great story that definitely fits all the themes of the series. I just wish it had an actual connection to the US town. Seems this is just an Elseworlds story.

Playing Silent Hill F right now. One QOL request I have is to allow us to use items from the main menu. It’s so annoying that in order to use an item, I need to hot key it first in menu A, exit into the game, then load item menu B to use it. Or switch to the second hot key list, then use.

Though I still hope the OG gets remastered, I always felt the original deserved the remake treatment (Shattered Memories doesn’t count. That’s a reimagining).
