I've never been more grateful to be born in March. There's no way I'm not letting Lute win and do whatever she wants with me.

S2 reaffirmed why Alastor is my favourite character. The man could not give less of a shit about the plot. He's just there to resolve his own shit and ragebait Vox. The fact that it ruins Vox's plans and saves everyone from a holy war is just a random consequence

It's fun to think about how different this ranking was pre-S2. Based on S1 alone, characters like Vox, Lute, Pentious, and Sera would have been far lower. But S2 did so much to give them all far more depth. The character writing really took a big step up

There's like one or two I'd swap around, but overall, that lines up. My bias for Lute very nearly carried her right to the top

Weirdly enough, it's this shot that gets to me more than any other in this season. Like he's so genuinely proud of sacrificing himself for his friends. The fact that he overcame the fear and social isolation that plagued him in his human life. It hits me in the emotions way too much

Lute's gonna get like 1000x more unhinged and it's just gonna make me fall in love with her even more smh
