Just put together the AMC Structors AT-AT wind-up model. It is way more fiddley than the AT-ST (gray one behind it). Motor still works but not great (like the other one). 40 years in the box. They did one more Star Wars wind-up

Went down to the model remote controlled airplane area. When I was younger, one of my older cousins did this.

A little island in the big pond. Birds in the shade on the island remind me of the vultures from The Jungle Book movie.

Lots of parks have these little sections with exercise equipment. Bonus shot of that bird from my last post.

Went to the Sepulveda Basin park. Interesting all the Parks bordered by Freeways. They have cricket grounds, water features and birds.

Feels like the toy world could do with a reboot of the Henshin Cyborg dolls. Return of clear robot dolls with mechanical bits visible inside could be a big hit. Every once in awhile, the old gimmicks return. I guess the 6 inch size is all the rage but whatever makes sense for manufacturing.
