Republicans just sided with abusers over domestic violence survivors. Sen. Bradley’s amendment to ban domestic abusers from carrying concealed guns was BLOCKED. SB 50 makes it easier for violent offenders to be armed. This is reckless & dangerous. #ncpol

Republicans just voted against gun detection systems in schools & hospitals and tactical gear for first responders. Sen. Smith fought for public safety, but SB 50 and republicans are putting guns over kids, guns over hospitals, and guns over common sense. #ncpol

Sen. Mohammed fought to increase death benefits for fallen officers & create a scholarship fund for their children—and even Republicans knew they couldn't say no. Now, we need to make sure no family ever has to use these benefits. #ncpol
