September 20 Learn to Swim Update - Due to the thunderstorm today's classes have been postponed.

New hours begin today through August 29 at Skokie Water Playground. Lap swim daily 7-10am. Public swim weekdays 4-7pm, Noon - 6pm (11am for season pass holders) on weekends. Devonshire Aquatic Center is closed for the season.

July 30 - due to the rainy weather both pools are closed. We will re-assess opening later today if the weather permits. Check back for updates.

July 19 - As of 11:45am both pools are closed due to thunderstorms. We are evaluating and hope to reopen at 1 pm. Stay tuned for further updates.

July 17 - Devonshire Aquatic Center has closed for the remainder of today's public swim. Skokie Water Playground is still (barely) open and may close due to lack of attendance. We will update if it does close.

Holiday hours today. We open at 10am for season pass holders. 12p for general admission. We will close at 5pm. #IndependenceDay

Today we took part in the World's Largest Swim Lesson to bring awareness to the importance of water safety. Pools from all over the United States and abroad joined together for this great event! We had over 40 kids take part. Next year will be bigger and better than ever. #WLSL

June 23 - the deep end of the main pool at SWP will be closed this afternoon. The slides, bucket pool and the shallow end of the main pool will be open.

June 22 Update - for safety reasons as if 5pm, admission to Skokie Water Playground has closed.

Heat wave day #2 - Parking at Skokie Water Playground will be busy with events in the Park and Oakton Community Center. You can use the lot located off Kenton Street

Don't let the beautiful sunny day fool you, it's too cold to open! We are delaying the opening of the Devonshire Aquatic Center. We are hoping the weather will warm up by May 29. If it warms up sooner, so will we!
