OMG 🤩 Gavin, in a shop buying a plant AND I can still control Duke who is on the beach chatting with a friend!! Loading screens here are SO MUCH better. The lot loads while you remain in game and entering a community lot doesn't stop you from being able to control the rest of the household!!

Decided to play around with decorating (which I enjoy doing these days) Grabbed a shell off Steam, redid the floorplan and dimensions of the house (which meant a little roofing but I'll live 🤭) I love having taller grass/flower terrain paint - its a gamechanger! Here's a look at it "in progress"

Para's toss and turn in bed 🤩🥰!! They haven't cuddled so I can't report on that, but I started them as Lvl 1 Romantic Partners meaning they are pretty early in their relationship (I honestly wasn't sure if the game was going to let them sleep together yet).

1st mod downloaded. I have never been someone who wants "realism" in my life sim bodies (I like my Barbies and Kens thank you very much 🤭) but I cannot stand the censor. Of course there's (more than 1) mod for that already!

Not Duke autonomously choosing to go stand in front of the mirror to "calm down" after he got angry at Gavin for asking to be left alone 🥺 I made Gavin good at being alone, which is classic for him but comes with some side effects in this game...

Early access 🤪... guessing the animation needs tweaked here. Gav spent the whole time painting the air (which I assume means the animation is set for Med/Lg patients vs small) - he did finish the painting so score 😄 I love that there's a button in game to let them know about little things like this

Remade Duke and Gavin (the best starters because I know them so well by this point 😊) and OMG the character creation options were AMAZING. I knew about the color wheel/layered clothing options but getting my hands on them was a whole other experience 🥰 Here's my boys ready for their new paralife!

I wasn't one of the folks eagerly awaiting Paralives but I also couldn't resist diving in 😄. First thing I noticed... there are already NINE PAGES of mods in the Steam Workshop 😮! I'm gonna rock it vanilla for now but they have a mod button on the log in screen so I had to look!

I am quickly remembering why I loved S2 SO MUCH when it was originally out (I'm old, what can I say 😄) The matchmaker came over, Don OF COURSE paid her a small amount for a blind date (because he doesn't NEED her service but why not) and for all her warnings its going well. Water Balloon Fight!

Don is so happy he can choose to sleep in and wander the house in his underwear AND have normal PJs without taking up a pajama slot (not to mention how he tossed and turned in bed 🤩...!)

Marketplace pricing really irks me. I haven't bought anything from it and I don't intend to, but I've been watching what's being put up for sale.... for Science 🤭 Today's newest "kit"... 10 pairs of shoes, nothing for masculine frames, 400 "Moola" (approx. $4) 🤦‍♀️ Cute shoes but not for the price

Up until now all the Miis on my Tomodachi Life island have been uniquely created for the game but when I found out I could set 2 Miis as "real life" partners I had to make the boys 🥰🥳 Loving that I can finally make Gav shorter than Duke! First meeting Duke crushed hard, Gav ran away in a panic 😄

We know I don't play NPC households as a rule but... I updated my game to begin the log in event and don't feel like doing the mod fundango tonight so I'm starting something I've wanted to try for awhile 🙃 OG Don, my man, I'm here to play!

I love how much of a better appreciation playing these pack deep dives is giving me for the world NPCs. I rarely gave the City Living crew a second thought but now I'm loving how colorful and diverse they are 😊

MCCC married Dina to Gavin Richards and now they are having a baby... Duke ran into her and his buddy Bob while getting breakfast (and trinkets from the local vendor) He and Bob have hit it off in a couple other timelines and more often than not Bob ends up pregnant (because of course he does 😄)

A work visit to the Fashion District turns into a night out with friends new and old! I love getting to see and interact with all the "starter" townies. Since every new save is a new timeline it never feels stale or repeated either - its always "which ones will the boys meet/befriend this time?"

And again...! I'm learning so much today (which is exactly why I enjoy these limited pack, deep dive, playthroughs 😊) If you tip the living statue $10 then you can BE one!?
