Few Notes: - LAD wasn't the high bid, LAA was. This wasn't LAD doubling up other teams 'because they can' - Missing out on HSK doesn't make the #Mariners cheap, you'd have been pissed if that was the deal SEA gave. - The off-season was already bad, today changed nothing.

Can't make things worse if you do nothing!

Hot Gin was the best/worst bit I ever did and probably shaved a solid 6-12 months off my life.

Probably Logan - I like George, but I'm concerned that he really doesn't have put away pitches. Low walk guys are great - but Cy Young guys get K's - and that's not really Kirby's profile.

I think it's Dylan Moore and *insert platoon partner here*. Yoan Moncada fits - but it feels like it could still be a trade piece, regardless of who they acquire for 2B.

We stan for deferrers in this household

1 day a week behind the plate, with the occasional DH start against lefties. I don't think he'll be as bad as last season - but anything higher than a 100 WRC+ for me will be a pleasant surprise.

I think it's better than people think. The Mariners are the best suited to run a 6 man rotation to allow for him to adjust, and they offer a tremendous advantage with their home park. Really don't buy the Dodgers belief - but I wouldn't be surprised if it comes down to Seattle and San Diego.

Really hard to call without knowing what the Mariners do this off-season. Astros are still the favorite - and I don't really believe in the Rangers either. Athletics will be pesky - but it wouldn't shock me if the ALW gets two teams this year.

Yes - and I still think he's on the team on opening day. Just don't see a viable path where they are going to get a legit every day bat AND a suitable rotation replacement - and tbh, that's probably the ask.
