We have a bit of a natural experiment here. Compare the tone, quantity and duration of Charlie Kirk coverage with that of the two Dem lawmakers gunned down in their homes in Minnesota 6 months ago. May be revealing.

I'm not going to condone or celebrate the attack on Charlie Kirk (because I don't support political violence) but I'm also not gonna pretend I'm upset about it either. Kirk is one of the people who has stoked the flames of violence in this country for a while. That entire MAGA movement does it...
