Since the news seems to be inescapably grim at the moment, here is a silly distraction: the menu from my excellent lunch at Bouchon Racine yesterday. Possibly my favourite restaurant in London at the moment. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. First rate.

This week’s restaurant recommendation is London based and can be found right next to Farringdon Station. Bouchon Racine has received all manner of recommendations and awards. It deserves them all.
