Stitching is about the only thing keeping me somewhat calm these days. Here's the latest, a riff on a piece I did a couple years ago in blue. It's hand stitched on wool felt, satin and recycled hand dyed canvas with a willow creek jasper.

Year of the snake. I have used the ouroboros often in my art over the years. The ancient symbol of destruction and rebirth seems very current these days. The snake eating its own tail also symbolizes interconnectedness. Community, connection is the path. #embroidery #ouroboros #yearofthesnake
