god, it's so depressing that a lot of people dont take the fact that raika is a victim of adults preying on teenagers seriously because his stalker/predator is conveniently attractive and appeals to degenerates

this might be a hot take but i think akinao does more harm than good to akina and nao's (yes, im saying the BOTH of them, not just nao) writing as individuals

i love ignoring canon and perceiving akina and nao as gay-lesbian solidarity besties

like im sorry but the writing for akinao has gradually devolved and became not so well written in s1, their dynamic was cute but from the s2 climax onwards, the writing and pushing became really obnoxious

i think divinez s3 ep6 is a great example of how nao literally cannot exist without akina being involved

Hot take but I think the akinao agenda has become forced. I dont gaf about it but the pushing was so much that it really became obnoxious and in-your-face. Its peak was (imho) in s1 but from the s2 climax onwards, its writing went downhill, having to rely on overused cliches to get the point across.

i think the main problem i have with akina's writing is that he doesn't feel 'human' yes, he does have flaws but i feel like those flaws only get explored once per season maximum like he isnt allowed to grow gradually and do trial & error

funnily enough, they counteract each other's writing problems Yu-yu has a premise that isnt explored enough? Akina counteracts it by having a more compelling premise with a more interesting backstory that gets explored on Akina has too much plot armour? Yu-yu counteracts it by (+)
