Just finished the very newly released The Faraway Inn 🥰 A very sweet YA fantasy novel that was SO cozy. I was lucky in that I got to meet Sarah Beth Durst earlier this week on release day when she was at my local library for the beginning of her book tour. Seriously just the sweetest lady ♥️

Saw Arkham City on sale yesterday for cheap and I've been meaning to play for years... It was one of my favorites back in my Xbox 360 days. I had SO MUCH FUN playing last night and I look forward to playing through the rest of it over the next couple of weeks ♥️

Played through Reanimal with my partner yesterday - it was very similar to Little Nightmares in many ways but felt more realistic and less stylized. It was super disturbing and the underwater part freaked me the hell out 😱 Not my favorite but we did enjoy playing it together!

Started Life is Strange for the first time today! It is a really interesting concept and I am enjoying it so far 🥰 Definitely having some panic about the choices I've made I since I'm used to using a million quicksaves in BG3 but we will see what ending I get 👀

Finished this one today - such a great one ♥️ This was a beautiful story about queer self discovery. I really felt seen in this book in terms of questioning my sexuality through the years. This one reminded me that I don't need to "prove myself" to anyone, I know who I am and I am proudly queer 🌈

Just finished this one and I am IN LOVE. I don't often read books that feel written especially for me but I definitely did here ♥️ It had wonderful queer, NB and POC representation but was also set in the world of game design. The video game references tickled me pink - I 100% recommend this one!

After almost 2 weeks my partner finally tested positive for COVID... ☠️ Luckily now we can get better together and don't need to quarantine from each other anymore. I was finally able to go back and finish Mass Effect 2 - so happy to be out of my bedroom and back on front of the TV 🥰 ME3 Time!

Absolutely PISSED to find out that I have something called COVID rebound... Was feeling so much better for about 4-5 days and then had more nasty symptoms and another positive test this morning 😭 This means more quarantine which I swear is going to be the end of my sanity...

Yesterday after 6 days I finally tested negative for COVID and was able to leave the house (masked) for work 🥳 But of course at work I was hit with the huge unexpected bombshell of the news that my boss is leaving in just over a month... Absolutely terrified about what comes come with this change 😱

Just finished the latest novel by Jennifer Dugan. I have absolutely loved her other sapphic romances! This one was not my favorite but was cute and well written. I am not generally a fan of the exes getting back together/post mortem trope but this one pleasantly surprised me. #booksky
