In my honest opinion the Down the Mine pilot is actually better than the actual episode. Like the sand and dirt actually falling away was amazing. I am not sure if I like the props better in the show or the pilot but either way, I’m so excited that we as a fandom finally have this #thomasandfriends

Made a special drink (vodka, blue curaçao, and sprite) to celebrate the release of the lost ‘Down the Mine’ pilot. I am so excited this is available after all these years. The 80th is turning out to be one heck of a good anniversary for Thomas and Friends fans of all kinds.
