Nearly got taken out at Almon/Windsor by a guy ignoring the multiple no right on red signs. Luckily his wife advised him that he should look where he is turning. The right hook potential is high on Almon street. Would be super cool if the HRP Traffic Unit would do their fucking job for a change.

There's a "Cars & Bikes Single File" sign on Almon Street between Agricola & Gottingen & i don't understand it. Do they expect cars to drive at bike speed & not pass the bikes? Do they expect bikes to sit in the daily traffic jams & not pass the cars along the curb? Both cars & bikes ignore the sign

It's a damn shame that Halifax didn't extend the Almon Street bike lane to include the section between Agricola & Gottingen. Regardless, it's fun in the afternoon when westbound cars idle in that section for 10 to 15 minutes & i slowly cruise up along the curb & pass them all.

I donāt know if Andy Filmore is a criminal but he sure deserves a slap on the head for paying someone $14,000 to write a speech for him. If itās not criminal than itās a huge red flag showing how little respect he has for taxpayers. Anyone who defends $14,000 on a mayorās speech is a moron.

Choose your route across the Halifax peninsula carefully today. The McKay Bridge closure really jams up the North Street corridor and it gets worse the closer you get to the McD Bridge. All made worse by intersection blockers.

Right now the north end of Halifax is sunny and beautiful. But thick fog starts when you hit the McD bridge and Dartmouth is cold and damp. There's a ship in the narrows but you can't see it at all, only hear it blasting it's fog horn.
